Review January 2013:

   Still, I am unable to determine which jurisdiction the blog owner belongs to.   There is, at this time, no apparent way to contact him.

   The format of the blog is very changed since the last time I visited the blog.  I am still grieved to see Fr. Seraphim grouped in with world orthodox and also even with a false elder [pseudo-elder Paisius, neo-Mt. Athos]

    I recommend instead lives of saints and any of the online books listed in the sidebar.

Review November 2011:

     As a rule I would not like to endorse any blog/website where the owner does not identify himself and his jurisdiction.  This blog seems ok, but without knowing where the owner is coming from, I do not know what warnings to give you.

     I did not check everything on this blog, but I tried to get a good overview.  And I picked out a few red flag subjects from the labels such as ecumenism, marriage, prophecy, and euthanasia.

ecumenism:  Blog seems to be determined not to address this heresy.

marriage:  Sound. Definitely not an 'Elder Ephraim' blog.

prophecy: Blog seems to avoid eschatology.

euthanasia:  No worldly debating of popular issues.

The saints quoted all seem to be universally recognized, for the most part,  except for St. Augustine who is rejected by many of the super-correct. 

The list of recent fathers is:

     I find it rather schizophrenic to see Fr. Seraphim Rose listed with Fr. Andrew Phillips [still among the living].  But the one quote from Fr. Andrew is from 1993, and what he is quoted saying is from one of his saner moments.

     The blog has been in business since February of 2007. That's long enough that if the blog owner had a hidden agenda, you'd think it would be apparent by now.  My first guess would be that the blog owner is either in the Milan synod, or the RocorMP western rite.   Best to avoid this blog.
